Many OA dogs are overweight, which contributes to their arthritis. By beginning an exercise program you can help your pet lose weight and build strength. OA affects the joints and surrounding tissues so building strength in the muscles and ligaments affected by the disease creates stability and supports the joint which can improve your dog’s function and range of motion.
